Overview:
This project involved the construction of a 32,529 square-foot state-of-the-art child enrichment facility to serve as the new home for the Boys & Girls Club of Cooke County. Located in Gainesville, Texas, the facility is designed to provide a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children and teens in the community.
Key Features:
- Multi-Purpose Rooms: Equipped with flexible spaces for various recreational and educational activities, including arts and crafts, tutoring, and technology labs.
- Gymnasium(s): Two full-size indoor gymnasiums for sports, fitness programs, and community events.
- Outdoor Play Area: A secure, modern playground and outdoor recreational space to encourage physical activity.
- Cafeteria/Community Space: A large dining area that can also function as a space for gatherings and events.
- Administrative Offices: A suite of offices to accommodate staff, including counseling and support services.
Scope of Work:
- Site preparation and grading for the 5-acre lot.
- Construction of the foundation, structural steel framing, and roofing system.
- Installation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet the specific needs of the facility.
